Little Horseby Betsy Byars |

Little Horse falls into a stream and is swept away from the Valley of Little Horses. He finds danger, adventure and a new life.
Little Horse really is
little. That’s what I enjoyed
about writing this book. When
you’re only about six inches tall, there’s danger everywhere – not just
from fast currents and waterfalls, but from hawks and dogs and, even, humans. I felt sorry for Little Horse, being swept away from his lovely valley and his mother, and I’m thinking about doing another book to take him home.. |
