Dear Readers,

When I get a book published in this country, it is often published later in other countries.  This is very exciting and it is usually a surprise.  I sometimes open the package and don't initially recognize the book.  However, there are two books that I always recognize... and they are two of my favorites.  When I see three characters on the cover and one of them is in a wheel chair, I know immediately that the book is the Pinballs even if the title is in Japanese.

When I see a beautiful black fox on the cover, I know immediately that it is the Midnight Fox.  The Korean edition is another of my favorites because the fox seems to be looking directly at me.

Here are the two books I mentioned and if you look closely, you will see that the fox is looking directly at you. I love it.
